In practice, this means an increase in the benefit by PLN 170.10 for the period of the first 90 days of receiving the allowance and by PLN 133.60 after the first three months. People with professional experience from 5 to 20 years can count on a standard benefit, the amount of which has been indicated earlier. The situation is different in the case of people with shorter or longer experience.

The period of receiving the allowance also depends on the place of residence and age of the recipient. In a standard case – i.e. when the unemployed lives in a poviat where the unemployment rate does not exceed 150 percent. national average – the allowance is paid for 180 days. However, if the unemployed lives in a region with increased unemployment (above 150 percent of the national average), this period increases to 365 days.
The annual allowance is also granted to persons under 50 years of age and may demonstrate at least 20 years of work experience-regardless of the level of unemployment in the region of residence.
