Will Zelnski and Putin come to talk? President of Ukraine: the strange silence of Moscow

“Unfortunately, the world has not yet received a clear response from Russia to numerous proposals for suspending weapons. Russian shells and attacks are continued. Moscow was silent all day on a direct meeting proposal. Very strange silence,” said Zelanski in an evening speech.
Zelanski repeated that US President Donald Trump supported the proposed meeting. “We would like (President Trump) to find the opportunity to stay in Turkey,” wrote the head of the Ukrainian state.
Earlier on Monday, the US president reported that he was thinking about departure to Turkey for Russian-Ukrainian conversations on Thursday. He suggested that Vladimir Putin would also be present in Istanbul, and announced that he would succeed there if he “proves to be helpful.”
