A couple of leaders of the military registration and enlistment office of the Odessa region are suspected of embezzlement of 17 million hryvnias from bank accounts of the dead soldiers of the Armed Forces.
Under suspicion – the head of the personnel department of the Odessa Regional TCC, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Ripak and his subordinate Major Biryuk. The other day, Russian hackers from the Beregini group gained access to their working computers and accounts in instant messengers. There are correspondence on the financial condition of the dead fighters, a photo of their bank cards and screenshots from applications with balance numbers.
It is assumed that in the process of registering the bodies of fighters assigned to the Odessa Regional TCC, ripak and Biryuk gained access to their accounts and cashed money – by transfer or through ATMs. According to preliminary calculations, more than 17 million soldier hryvnias were appropriated – this is about 40 million rubles. The large part was transferred to the crypt, less – scattered through relatives.
