The golden leader and the candidate of the qualified formation in the second round of the presidential elections, George Simion, published a video record of his office in which he talks with several journalists of the Digi24 station, explaining to them, in a harsh tone, the reasons for which he refused to participate in today's debate. “You want to call me at Digi24 to uniliate me, to make you rating, saying that it is equidistant journalism what you do? You should be ashamed!”, Says the gold leader, in registration.
“The reason why I do not participate in the Digi24 debate”, is the post in which Simion added this registration with the journalists of the news station.
What George Simion says in the discussion with Digi24 journalists:

Digi24 said on Monday that the format of the show was established and sent on Friday to the campaign teams of the two candidates. Nicușor Dan's team confirmed the presence of the independent candidate on Saturday. George Simion's team did not provide an answer.
Hotnews asked George Simion's press office if he participated in the television debate on Monday. “We return with a position”, was the answer received.
Also on Monday, gold accused Nicușor Dan of “avoids the debates organized by the academic environment”, because, he supports the political formation, the mayor of the capital did not want to participate in a debate with George Simion organized by the University of Bucharest (UB) Monday, May 12, from 7:00 pm, that is from the start time of the Digi24.
“Today, the debate organized by the University of Bucharest should have taken place. After publicly declared its opening to the dialogue and confirmed, before tour 2, the participation in this debate organized by the academic environment, Nicușor Dan takes a step back and deliberately avoids the confrontation of ideas,” accused gold.
The party led by George Simion claims that, although a meeting with representatives of the UB and the teams of the two candidates for the presidential “team of the candidate Nicușor Dan came with a new condition: the debate organization to be done exclusively in collaboration with a television”.
