The plane crash in Washington can be the largest in the USA over the past 15 years.
The last large emergency with passenger aircraft in the country occurred more than 10 years ago. January 6, 2013 in San Francisco crashed the Assiana Airlines aircraft, three were injured, 187 people were injured. The last major disaster with a large number of dead occurred on February 12, 2009: the Colgan Air aircraft crashed in New York. All 49 people who were on board were killed, and one person on earth.
Now at least 300 people are involved in the operation at the site of the tragedy-it will last for many more hours due to bad weather. Everything is complicated by cold water in the Potomak River.
The reason could be the error of the dispatcher. The plane did not give a signal, proceeding to a decrease, while the military flew by at the same height.
