The details of the India-Pakistan dramatic struggle with 125 aircraft, revealed: French aircraft vs. J-10, Made in China. What was the result

The fight between Pakistani Chinese manufacture planes and Indian fighter fighter airplanes will be analyzed closely by armies looking for information that could provide an advantage in future conflicts, writes Reuters.

A Pakistani fighter plane manufactured in China broke at least two Indian military aircraft on Wednesday, two American officials for Reuters said, revealing some of the details of the dramatic fight on the border between the two nuclear powers.

An American official, speaking subject to anonymity, said there is information that Pakistan used the J-10 plane made in China to launch air-air missiles against Indian fighter planes-lowering at least two.

Another official said that at least one Indian aircraft was a fighter plane fighter fan – information and other sources on Thursday, including French sources quoted by CNN.

Both officials said that Pakistan's F-16 aircraft, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, were not used in battle.

Still unclear information

Officially, India did not recognize the loss of any aircraft and said instead that he had successful blows against the “terrorist” infrastructure inside Pakistan.

While Reuters reported on Wednesday that three Indian aircraft were shot down, citing local government officials in India, this is the first Western confirmation that Pakistani Chinese manufacturing planes have been used in battle.

Pakistani Minister of Defense, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, also told Reuters that the J-10 aircraft were used to break three French manufacturing bursts, which have recently been purchased by India.

In total, Pakistan says he has shot down five Indian planes.

The air fight, under the magnifying glass

Flefale, used by India, and the Chinese Model J-10, used by Pakistan, are considered fighter jets of generation 4.5.

Western analysts and sources in the defense industry have said that the use of these advanced weapons will be analyzed in detail, but they stressed that it is too early to draw firm conclusions.

“Communities in the field of air war in China, the US and a number of European countries will be extremely interested in trying to get as much information about tactics, techniques, procedures, what equipment has been used, which worked and what not,” said Douglas Barrie, Senior Fellow for the military aerospace industry at the International Institute for Strategic Studies.

Posts on social networks have also highlighted the possible confrontation between the PL-15 air-air rocket and the meteor, produced by the European MBDA missile group.

But analysts and sources said that crucial details are unclear.

“At this moment it is not possible to judge anything. We know so little,” said a western source in the defense industry.

“China's most capable weapon against the most capable West weapon”

“You have no doubt the most capable of China against the West capable weapon if it was really used; we don't know that,” Barrie said.

“PL-15 is a big problem. It is something to which the American army pays a lot of attention,” said an official in the defense industry.

The weapons companies will also be eager to separate the technical performance from the operational factors, the analysts said.

“There will be audits about what works and what does not work, but I think the other aspect is the proverbial fog,” said Byron Callan, an expert in defense based in Washington and Managing Partner of Capital Alpha Partners, quoted by Reuters.

According to him, American weapons companies are constantly receiving feedback on how their products operate in the Ukraine war.

“I certainly expect the same thing to happen with European suppliers of India, and Pakistan and China probably share the same feedback. If PL-15 works as it was announced or better than expected, the Chinese would like to hear this.”

125 aircraft in the air

Wednesday's struggle between Pakistani and Indian fighting aircraft was one of the “largest in recent aviation history,” a high -ranking Pakistanian security source said.

A total of 125 fighter jets fought for over an hour, Wednesday morning, in an intense rocket exchange.

Interestingly, no plane left its own air space, according to the source that detailed that rocket exchanges occurred at distances sometimes greater than 160 kilometers.

None of the parties were ready to send their pilots across the border because of a conflict that took place in 2019.

Then, a pilot of the Indian air forces was shot down on the Pakistani territory and wore on television, before being returned to India. A humility that none of the parties wanted this time.

Dozens of victims

Sometimes, Indian Air Force had to perform more races to targets, according to the source. Pakistan did everything he could to warn the civilians in the areas that he considers potential targets, the source said.

Pakistan states that at least 31 civilians were killed and about 50 were injured in India attacks and cross -border bombings over the border in Kashmir, while India states that 13 Indian civilians were died and 59 were injured.
