Lister is the causative agent of a dangerous infectious disease of leaferiosis, which affects the central nervous system and reproductive organs. The incubation period is up to 90 days. The main path of infection is through food. The bacterium is especially dangerous for pregnant, newborns, elderly, cancer and people with weak immunity.
