In 2021, when this budget ceiling was introduced, the plan of the FIA was for the budget to be $ 175 million for each team, but the pandemic dropped to $ 145 million. In 2022 it was reduced to 140 million, in 2023 to 135 million, and last year returned to the amount of 2022.
