The Sports Gazette, the most respected voice in the Romanian sports press, offers two trophies monthly: “The player of the Moon” and “The Coach of the Moon” ♦ Beyond passions and subjective preferences, it is a sign of respect and fair play to applaud the best. In fact, this is called the GSP project: “The best”.
The algorithm used to establish the winners is a very simple one. The GSP editorial is the nominations, based on statistics and clear performance figures, then vote 3 categories: GSP.ro readers, editorial journalists and five specialists (former footballers or important coaches), which change from one month to another.
- The first ranked in each top receives 5 points, the one on the 2nd place, 4 points, etc. GSP editorial vote matters double.
- Each month the winners receive from GSP.ro – Sports Gazette a unique trophy.
