Animex wants to take over the animal food manufacturer Pupil Foods

Animex reported the intention to take over the Pupil Foods animal food manufacturer – said the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection in the announcement.

“Concentration consists in the acquisition of all Pupil Foods shares by Animex, which will take over the exclusive control by the animex holding over Pupil Foods,” it was said.

Animex Holding is a company that is part of a capital group controlled by WH Group Limited based in Hong Kong. WH Group is a global food group and one of the largest pork processors and a pig producer.

In Poland, animex sells brands Krakus, Berlinki and Morliny, It has 12 production plants in our country.

Pupil Foods operates in the production and sale of food products for pets (accompanying), offering a full range of dogs for dogs and cats on the market (both wet and dry foods).

For 2023, he recorded sales revenues in the amount of PLN 198.3 million, and in the financial statements for 2023 he reported that in 2024 he was planning to generate revenues of PLN 230 million. (PAP Biznes)
