We will finish what we started on October 15 – wrote Prime Minister Donald Tusk, commenting on the Sunday speech of President Andrzej Duda at the election convention of Karol Nawrocki in Łódź. The speech was also commented on, among others Senate Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska.

Duda appeared on Sunday at the election convention supported by PiS candidate for President Karol Nawrocki. He encouraged to vote for him, but also argued that PiS “kept honest, also in democracy”, and he respects the rules of democracy. The president also addressed numerous allegations towards the current rulers. In his opinion, “these are elections whose legality is in danger because of those mathematics that the other party is allowed, for this cynicism and bastard, saying that the SN control room is illegal, and it must approve the validity of the elections.”

The president's speech was widely commented on, among others by politicians of the ruling coalition. “+ It cannot be that in Poland he wins cynicism and bastard+ – said President Duda today. Full agreement. We will finish what we started on October 15. Goodbye” – wrote on X Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

In turn, the Speaker of the Senate Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska estimated that Duda decided to end his presidency with a scream and lies. ” “Words about defending democracy from the mouth of a politician who put on its destruction sound extremely hypocritical. Only 100 days,” she commented.

According to the head of the left club Anna Maria Żukowska, “the entire current campaign of Nawrocki PiS pretended that this is not a PiS candidate.” “In turn, President Duda swore that no one will support anyone, because the president should not get involved in the election campaigns. I find it very funny,” she said.

The Minister of Sport and Tourism Sławomir Nitras published a fragment of Duda's statements of November 2024. The president said then that “the President of the Republic of Poland is not official support to any of the candidates.” “He thought so, but as Kaczyński ordered it supported. Nawrocki is another Kaczyński puppet,” said the head of the Sports Ministry.
