In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the trial of the ex-complicator of the head of the department for migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Norilsk was completed. The man was accused of abuse of authority and receiving bribes (paragraph “E” of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, part 1 of article 291.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and part 3 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The united press service of the regional courts recalled that at the time of the commission of crimes, the ex-police officer held the position of senior inspector of the migration department. It was established that in the period from November 2022 to December 2023, he received small bribes of 3 and 5 thousand rubles through an intermediary for help in registration in Norilsk. Also, the man in the interests of migrants twice attracted the administrative responsibility of the person who at that moment was outside Norilsk. This made it possible to register violators in the living room.
Another episode is associated with a bribe of 30 thousand rubles, which the policeman received from a citizen of Azerbaijan. He was threatened with deportation, but an employee of the migration department incorrectly executed the documents, concealing part of the information.
The court punished the ex-police 6 years in a colony of general regime and a fine of 200 thousand rubles. In addition, The court determined an additional punishment in the form of another fine of 600 thousand rubles. After leaving the colony, the violator of the law for another 5 years will not be able to work in senior positions.
The verdict has not yet entered into legal force, the parties have time to challenge it.
