Two Russian tourists died in the Philippines during diving. The sharks tore off one, the second drowned.
According to the local police, the men went to Verde Island with two other Russians and the Philippine instructor. During an immersion with scuba gear, everyone was carried away by a strong underwater flow. Two and the instructor were able to swim. The dead did not cope with the elements – the sharks attacked one, they found him with a torn hand, the other choked. They were 29 and 39 years old.
