Krasnoyarsk Regional Court tightened the punishment of his mother, who forced her son to drink a cleaning agent

The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court, at the request of the prosecutor's office, tightened the punishment of a 34-year-old resident of the village of Kamarchaga, who tried to poison her 11-year-old son to poison the household chemicals.

In the process, the woman grabbed a metal stove poker and I hit her on the head. After that, she poured into a mug about 150 ml of an Azelit household cleaner with alkali in the composition and forced the boy to drink it, after which he was sick. And she herself went to bed.

In time, his father called an ambulance in time. The student was hospitalized in intensive care with a chemical burn of the oral cavity, upper respiratory tract and severe pain.

In December last year, the court found the woman guilty of causing grievous bodily harm (paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and, taking into account mitigating circumstances, sentenced to 5 years a general regime colony. However, the prosecutor's office considered that taking into account the mitigating circumstance in this case was inappropriate and challenged the decision.

“The Krasnoyarsk Regional Court found the arguments of the state prosecutor with reasonable and I strengthened the guilty punishment up to 6 years in a colony of general regime. Already with the second decision of the court, the defense side did not agree, appealed him, referring to the excessive severity of the sentence and asked to be sentenced to conditional deprivation of liberty. The arguments are rejected. The court decision has entered into legal force, ”the prosecutor’s office said.

They noted that the injured child has passed a long treatment and now nothing threatens his life.
