The 23rd International Festival of Cinematographic Debuts “The Spirit of Fire” was held in the capital of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Khanty-Mansiysk. If you have not heard, in vain! Not one Oscar is rich.
In short, the “Spirit of Fire” is the largest cinema festival in Russia, where novice filmmakers and film books show their works. It is held every year. In 2025, more than 500 participants from 45 countries submitted applications for participation. 7 full -length and 18 short meters reached the final. The international jury was headed by the Korean director Shin Yong Yong-man, and the main judge in the Russian competition was the actor and screenwriter Yuri Moroz.
Since 2007, Gazprom Neft has been the general partner since 2007. Plus, the company traditionally gives the award for the best Russian film in the nomination “For the preservation of cultural traditions”.
