This recipe for Easter cakes involves the use of the minimum number of ingredients and does not require special culinary skills. However, the result will pleasantly surprise you – the pastries will turn out to be lush and soft.

Ingredients for cakes:

  • 500 g of flour;
  • 200 ml of warm milk;
  • 100 g of sugar;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 11 g of dry yeast (1 bag);
  • 100 g of butter;
  • A pinch of salt;
  • 100 g of raisins (optional).

Glazury ingredients:

  • 150 g of sugar powder;
  • 2-3 tbsp. lemon juice or water.

Preparation:

Dough:

– In a large bowl, mix dry yeast with warm milk. Add 1 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. flour. Mix and leave in a warm place for 10-15 minutes so that the yeast is activated.

– In another bowl, beat the eggs with the remaining sugar and salt to the light foam.

– Add the egg mass, soft butter to the yeast mixture and gradually pour the flour, kneading the dough. Add raisins at the end.

-Knead the dough to elasticity, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1.5-2 hours to rise.

Formation and pastries:

– Mix the rising dough and lay out in smeared oil molds for cakes, filling them with 1/3.

– Give the dough in the forms to rise for about 30 minutes.

-Bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 25-30 minutes, until the top becomes golden.

Glaze:

– In a bowl, mix sugar powder with lemon juice or water thoroughly to a state of thick sour cream.

– Cover the finished and chilled cakes, let it freeze.
