The reason is the star of Sky Germany, Ralf Schumacher, who publicly announced that he is gay. Thus, television recalls that in Saudi Arabia there are laws against homosexuals, and the relationship between people of the same sex are incriminated, the punishment being imprisonment or even death sentence in some cases, according to Sportal.bg.

At the same time, Sky UK and Sky Italy confirmed that they will send teams to Saudi Arabia, meaning there will be no change in their race reflecting policy.
