According to S&P Global Market Intelligence From January to the end of March this year, 188 large American companies filed bankruptcy. At the same time last year There were 139 applications for such applications, which was already a record. The last time such a large number of bankruptcy ads in the first quarter was recorded during the financial crisis in 2010. As many as 254 applications were submitted then.
S&P Global in his report drew attention to serious challenges facing corporations. Experts mention growing interest rates and the need to refinance debt on less favorable conditions.

In the first quarter of this year, industrial and consumer sectors affected the crisis. The first one was responsible for 32 bankruptcy reports, the second – for 24. In total, both sectors accounted for as much as 30 percent. all bankruptcies.
