A man from Bistrita was detained by the police after putting his 10-year-old son to drive the car, being accompanied by the minor's mother and brother. The father now risks serious sanctions.

The incident took place on the evening of April 8, in Bistrița, when a 47 -year -old man entrusted the steering wheel of his 10 -year -old son.
While the minor was driving, his mother and brother were passengers in the vehicle. According to the Bistrița-Năsăud County Police Inspectorate, the police tried to stop the car, but the driver continued to travel.
The police crew started immediately in tracking the vehicle and, after a few moments, managed to stop it. “At the wheel the police officers identified a minor for 10 years. At the same time, in the car, the police also identified, as passengers, his mother and brother. Following the checks carried out, the police found that the car did not appear with the valid RCA policy and would have been entrusted to the minor by the father, to be driven on public roads“, IPJ Bistrița-Năsăud said, according to Bistrita.
Following the investigations, the man was detained for 24 hours, and the criminal file drawn up for the entrustment of a vehicle without a driving license. “Currently, the 47-year-old man is in the arrest of the Bistrița-Năsăud County Police Inspectorate, to be presented to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bistrița Court, in order to have a new preventive measure.“, Added the mentioned source.
