Trump signed decrees. Coal “critical mineral” in the United States

– Today we are taking historical actions to help American employees, miners, families and consumers. Once and for all, we end the war Joe Biden with beautiful, pure coal (…) we restore miners back to work – Trump announced during the signing ceremony of new decrees supporting the coal industry.
Donald Trump announces the support of the mines
In a speech delivered against the background of miners standing behind him, dressed in working outfits in the White House Trump argued that the value of unwashed coal in the US is 100 times higher than the value of all gold in Fort Knox. He announced the “crushing” of environmental regulations limiting coal mining, which is to protect against closing 66 mines.
He also argued that mining was discriminated against so far, although miners love their work and would not give it up even if they had a chance to live in a New York apartment and have a different job.
Trump has also signed a regulation ordering the Minister of Energy potential coal classification as a “critical mineral” and allowing to increase the mining of raw material using the provisions of the Defense Production Act, created to increase the production of materials and goods necessary for the needs of national defense.
Another decree says about The end of “discriminatory” policies of government agencies against coal mining, allowing the opening of new mines in federal lands. Trump also recommended the Ministry of Justice to prosecute and fight the “illegal” regulations of state authorities against fossil fuels.
Trump decrees are part of a wider deregulation initiative in the energy sector, aimed at increasing electricity production to respond to the powerful demand for electricity, including necessary for the development of artificial intelligence.
