According to the published schedule on Tuesday, the government was to deal with the hospital reform project prepared in the Ministry of Health. In a statement after a government meeting, there is no information on the project of the health department. On the government side, only the government has been accepted by the other two projects from the schedule regarding investment in defense and certification in public tenders.

Changing the hospitalization mode
The draft amendment to the Act on healthcare services financed from public funds and some other acts assume that Hospitals will be able to replace the full hospitalization mode for planned or one -day treatment. In addition, according to the project, local governments will be able to combine hospitals so as not to duplicate services. The MZ project also provides for repair plans for indebted facilities.
The MZ project directed to the government is The third version of the hospital reform proposals. In the course of public consultations of previous versions, there was no agreement as to what level the decision to transform hospitals and their consolidation should be made.
Mile stone in KPO
Hospital reform is a “milestone” in the national reconstruction plan (KPO), i.e. The payment of money from KPO depends on its implementation. After the changes, the offer of hospitals is to be adapted to local needs, including to demographic changes: a falling number of births and an aging society. Medical staff, equipment and infrastructure are to be used more effectively.
The MZ project assumes the revocation of a provision that allows doctors outside the EU to practice in the so -called a simplified system, i.e. on the basis of the decision of the Minister of Health, and without the right to practice (PWZ) issued by the District Medical Chambers. The Ministry of Health explained that he wants to repeal the provision in connection with increasingly numerous signals about the abuse of professional qualifications by doctors practicing a profession in a simplified system.
It comes, among others for issuing prescriptions in the so -called recipes. MZ pointed out that these doctors are excluded from the universal professional responsibility system, and patients cannot check their rights in the Central Register of Doctors kept by the Medical Government.
The MZ project also assumes that the patient will not need a referral for a visit to a sports medicine doctor, an optometrist and a psychologist.
