The Minister of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Arkady Zinov commented on the situation with circus repair in the regional center.
According to the minister, the Krasnoyarsk circus is a federal institution – a branch of the Federal State Educational Standard “Rosgoscirk” – and is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Funding for design and overhaul was carried out at the expense of the federal budget.
According to the customer of today at the facility,: a roof device on the administrative building and the spectacular part of the circus, installation of stained glass on the second floor, insulation of facades of the dome part, laying of cable tracks, fire alarms, electric lighting.
However, at the moment, work is suspended, since. In the process of their implementation, it is determined that the building of the Krasnoyarsk circus requires not overhaul, but reconstruction. To do this, it is necessary to finalize the design documentation and allocate more funding.
“In connection with the current situation, the Organizational Committee on the preparation and celebration of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, was entrusted with: the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, together with the PPK“ Unified Customer ”and the Russian State Circus Company, ensure the transfer of the PPK“ Unified Customer ”Functions of the State Customer in relation to reconstruction works Krasnoyarsk circus, ”explained Arkady Zinov in his telegram channel.
The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, together with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, should ensure the completion of the reconstruction, providing for the necessary financing.
Recall that the circus in Krasnoyarsk was closed for repairs in 2019. The work was supposed to be completed by the end of 2021, but due to the introduction of new requirements for animal maintenance, the project was required, otherwise the circus would not have passed licensing. Also, according to the project, the building should have changed engineering networks, redo the entire finish and replace the lighting.
Later it became known that in the framework of the Strategy for the Development of circus art in the Russian Federation for the period until 2035, the Krasnoyarsk circus wants to reconstruct until 2025. However, it was not possible to carry out all the necessary work on time again.
