The first 45 minutes of U Cluj – Rapid match were devoid of the intensity and pace that the two coaches were expecting from their students. It has been played a lot between the two whicks, but the opportunities appeared hard. U Cluj was the team that had the possession, while Rapid tried to hit the counterattack, but showed too little for the pretensions of the fans.

The most important moments in Cluj Arena were those in which the central defenders of the University, Jonathan Cisse and Iulian Cristea, were involved.
