Russian leader Vladimir Putin assessed on Monday that “findings” from his meeting with US President Donald Trump in Alaska “open the way” to find a crisis solution in Ukraine. These words were spoken during a speech at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SZOW) in China.

Putin in his speech at the Szow forum in Tiencin, in the north of China, emphasized the importance of other global players in the context of the war in Ukraine.
– In this respect, we very much appreciate the efforts and proposals of China and India, aimed at facilitating the solution to the Ukrainian crisis – said the Russian leader.
The communist authorities in Beijing declare a neutral attitude towards the war, while strengthening relations with Moscow. Like India, China spend billions of dollars on the purchase of Russian oil.
In his Monday speech, Putin continued to defend the Russian invasion of Ukraine, burning the West with responsibility for causing a full -scale war that has been going on for over three years.
-This crisis was not caused by Russia's attack on Ukraine, but it was the result of a coup d'état in Ukraine, which was supported and provoked by the West-said Putin, probably meaning to overthrow the pro-Russian President of Ukraine Wiktor Janukowycz by the revolution of dignity from 2013-2014. According to Putin, “the next reason for the crisis is the permanent attempts of the West to pull Ukraine into NATO” and these actions pose a “direct threat to Russia's security.”
As the Russian leader added to reach a long -lasting and permanent agreement, the reasons for the conflict should be eliminated.
After meeting Trump in Alaska, on August 15, Putin said that he would meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zielnski, but so far there was no conversation between both leaders.
On Sunday, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Pieskov announced that Russia would continue the “special military operation” in Ukraine. “We are ready to solve this problem with political and diplomatic means. However, we have not seen the reciprocity on the part of Kiev in this matter so far,” Pieskow argued. According to him, Europe hinders Trump's effort in favor of peace in Ukraine.
In the two -day SZOW Summit – an organization whose main goal is to promote cooperation in the field of security, politics, economy and culture, representatives of over 20 countries and heads of 10 international organizations, including the presidents of Turkey and Iran, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Masud Pezeszkian, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, take part.
On Wednesday, at the invitation of the leader of the PRC XI Jinpinga, Putin will take part in the Military Defilade in Beijing on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will also come to the celebration.
