In the first match of the tournament, the Ukrainians defeated the US team with a score of 3: 0. The game took place on the legendary “Marakanazinho” in Rio de Janeiro.
Raul Losano's wards left no chance of the third team of the world rating – the Ukrainian national team confidently controlled the game in all three sets.
The third set turned out to be the most elaborated, but the team withstood pressure and entered a historic victory in the debut at the tournament.
