According to Stubba, the negotiating abilities of Trump should not be underestimated, which – as he noted – represents a very hard negotiating line. If Putin does not agree to the suspension of the weapon during the Friday meeting in Alaska, then a wave of sanctions for Russia will take place – summed up the Finnish president.

Stubb also cut speculation that Finland could host the three-sided Putin-Trump-Zełenski peak. According to the Finnish president, there is agreement that such a meeting could take place in Europe, but Finland will not be this country, and its possible organization depends on the results of talks in Alaska.
