Why is it important?

What happened?
The accident occurred near the Daejin port in Yeongdeok-Gun. The 60-year-old diver went out to the sea on the fishing boat at 10, and the diving started half an hour later. When he did not emerge at a fixed time, the captain of Łódź reported his disappearance of the coast guard.
How was the rescue operation?
The coastal guard reacted immediately, engaging three patrol ships, three rescue boats, a rescue team from Uljin and a helicopter. The search ended with finding a man about 500 m from the shore, at a depth of 28 m. The man was unconscious, did not breathe and did not have pulse. Rescuers undertook cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and transported him to the hospital.
