Courts of the Russian military criminal Gadzhiyev: System sabotage and legal absurdity, – Media
In the Ukrainian judicial system there is a dangerous trend: cases of war crimes against Ukraine are considered in the general order as ordinary criminal ones. The result is tightening, incompetence, procedural manipulations and legal absurdity.

One of the most terrifying examples is the case of Magomed Gadzhiev, a former deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, accused of encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine (Article 110 of the Criminal Code). For almost a year, the case cannot go to consideration on the merits – it is blocked by procedural manipulations.
Examinable example: Ukrainian lawyer Oleg Oleshko used a fraudulent scheme to legalize two Belgian lawyers as allegedly “consultants”. They were entered in the Register, but in fact they act as Gadzhiev's lawyers, systematically inhibiting the process – despite the lack of knowledge of Ukrainian legislation and state language.
At this time, Gadzhiev himself lives in Monaco and, according to open sources, finances Russian aggression against Ukraine.
This story has been resonant due to the activity of war veterans and public organizations. On June 19, a meeting of veterans associations with the leadership of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, which represents the prosecution of Gadzhiyev. The meeting voiced a number of proposals, in particular the creation of a separate legal mechanism for cases of state detention and military crimes.

The next meeting in the case of Gadzhiev – June 24 at 10:00 in the Pechersk court. Veterans and media announce a mass presence and expect an indictment.
