The former defender with 30 matches at the Romanian senior representative has evolved, throughout his career, at Rapid Bucharest (1997-2004, 2009-2010), a club with which he won two national titles, two cups and two superloaders, but also abroad, at Spartak Moscow, winning a Russia Super Cup.

Withdrawn as a player in 2012, the nickname “Şaurul” from the Rapid period began the activity on the technical bank. He was a trainer in bands such as Corvin Hunedoara, Pandurii Târgu Jiu or Rapid Bucharest.

My main goal is to contribute to the development of young players and to prepare a competitive generation together, ready to make the step towards the first representative. I am convinced that through work, discipline and team spirit, we will be able to build a strong and united group”, Adrian Iencsi, born in Piatra, told the mentioned source.

He was the last “second” of Rapid, where he left in 2024.
