Poland AI leader in the region: investments are growing despite challenges


According to the report, in Poland the pace of investment in modern technologies is associated with a lower sense of economic uncertainty – this problem was indicated by 46 percent. respondents, while in the region interest is as much as 58 percent. At the same time, the area of Central, Eastern and Southern Europe encounters more difficulties in accessing funds for the development of innovation, which was noticed by 41 percent. respondents, compared to 28 percent in Poland. The situation of Polish entrepreneurs, however, does not seem to be free from challenges – as an important barrier they indicate high interest rates and difficult credit conditions, which were an obstacle to 36 percent. Ai prevails in data analysis
According to EY data, Polish companies focused primarily on the use of artificial intelligence in data analysis – this was declared by 44 percent. respondents. What's more, 46 percent respondents in Poland are convinced that this technology will contribute to a significant increase in their business performance. Poland also falls better in terms of the implementation of AI, especially in the areas of marketing and online sales – this type of initiative is implemented by 63 percent. Polish companies, while the average in the region is 52 percent.
In the context of fears related to the new 41 percent technology Polish entrepreneurs indicated the risk regarding the protection of privacy. On the other hand, there is 37 percent of the lack of clear regulations regarding AI. respondents. As reported in the report, “Polish companies call for a legal framework that will not only guarantee security, but also allow you to implement technology in business activities.”
The study was conducted at the turn of February and March this year. 1031 enterprises from 16 countries of the region took part in it, including 179 companies from Poland, representing primarily industrial, energy, consumer and health care sectors.
