The National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) said in a response to G4Media that Dragoș Anastasiu and Cristian Băciucu “had the capacity of denunciation” in the criminal case that concerned the official ANAF Angela Burlacu.

“In the file I was a witness, not a denouncer. There was no action against me, I had no legal advantage, and in the file other companies that were in the same situation were involved. I never had any criminal conviction,” Anastasiu wrote on Friday.

Also on Friday, in a group of communication with the press, the government spokesman said that “Deputy Prime Minister Dragoș Anastasiu had no denouncer, accused, defendant, convicted in the DNA file”, as well as “his only quality was that of witness”.

“Deputy Prime Minister Dragoș Anastasiu did not have the capacity of denouncer, accused, defendant, convicted in the DNA file solved by the decision 1258/2023.
