David Popovici dominated the 5th series, which he won with a time of 1: 46.84. The Romanian champion qualified in the final with the best time.

The double world champion entered the basin at 11:15in the 200 m free sample series. Popovici was in the 5th series. He did not force and imposed itself lightly, obtaining the best qualification time.

The competition takes place outdoors on the basis of X-Bionic Sphere and 373 swimmers from 42 countries participate. Samorin is 25 kilometers from Bratislava and houses the National Olympic Center of Slovakia.

• The series start at 200 m free. Ștefan Cozma and Mihai Gergely compete in the 2nd series, and David Popovici will enter the basin in the 5th series.

• Mihai Gergely removed a time of 1: 52.31 and took 34th place, and Stefan Cozma traveled the 200 m in 1: 53.16, being in the 38th position.

• Alexandru Constantinescu competed in the second series of 200 m back sample and removed a time of 2: 00.58being the 4th of his series. The Romanian managed to qualify in the final, Having 7th time of the 3 series.

• Constantinescu's opponents will be Mathys Chouchaii (France), Apostolos Siskos (Greece), Flavio Bucca (Switzerland), Cameron Broker (UK), Oleksandr Zheltiakov (Ukraine), Alexandre Desangles (France) and Jack Skerry.

• The morning session from Samorin started with the series of 50 m female bras, after which the series of 200 m rear will follow, where the first representative of Romania will enter the competition. This is Alexandru Constantinescu, a sportsman who is in the second series.

In the 2nd series, Romania is represented by Stefan Cozma and Mihai Gergely, who also fights for accessing the final of the competition. The fight for gold will take place all today, at 19:24.
