Real inflation in Russia since 2001 has exceeded 700%
According to Rosstat, the average annual price increase was 9.1%, analysts report.
Cigarettes went up most of all – 27 times (from 7 to 192 rubles per pack).
Housing prices rose 16 times – from 9,000 to 148,000 rubles per square meter, and a dozen eggs – from 19 to 117 rubles.
