On the podium at the TIR competitions with the weapon and athletics
Mihaela Vorniceanu has been participating in the TIR competitions with the weapon for years. Compete with employees from all services, inspectorates and specializations. That is, next to police, border guards and gendarmes from all over the country. Most shoot with a 9 × 19 mm gun. He has often climbed on the podium both in the team and individually. For example, in 2018, at the TIR championship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mihaela Vorniceanu took the third place in the individual women. In 2025, in May, Mihaela Vorniceanu managed to obtain the second place in the team test and the fourth place in the individual women. The competition takes place in Sângeorgiu de Mureș, on a MApN polygon.

The contest brought together 214 employees from all over the country. In the individual test women participated 18 of the best shooters in Romania. “Mihaela is not at the first participation in this championship, occupying each time leading places with both the Romanian Gendarmerie team and individually”the representatives of IJJ Botosani states.
