Thousands of people protested on Tuesday night in front of the government, after the tragic death of Teodora Marcu. Cristi Manea (27 years old), together with the girlfriend Irina Deaconescu.
Teodora Marcu was killed on Saturday, May 31, by the former lover, Robert Lupu, in the Cosmopolis neighborhood near Bucharest. The 23 -year -old girl was pregnant in 24 weeks with the second child.

On Tuesday evening, about 3,000 people, most of them female, protested in front of the government. It was a solidarity meeting with women victims of abuse.
Cristi Manea and Irina Deaconescu were also surprised at the rally. The woman had a paper that he wrote: “We are the voices of the women who lost it.”
Teodora Mark was killed while walking through the Cosmopolis neighborhood. This was accompanied by a few people, including her daughter. Suddenly, Robert Lupu, the ex-boyfriend, appeared in the landscape, who shot her several times, according to freedom.ro.
The body of Teodora Marcu was deposited on Monday at a church in the Cosmopolis neighborhood. “Christ has risen! With deep sadness we inform you that tomorrow, Monday, June 2, 2025, the inanimate body of the young Marcu Mariana Teodora, who left us after the tragic event of May 31, 2025, will be submitted to the Church in Cosmopolis,” the neighborhood announced.
