Trump talked about Washington's attack with Netanyahu / White House: This administration has done more than any other in history to combat anti -Semitism

Karoline Leavitt spokesman said the two leaders had “a productive discussion”, adding that the United States and Israel continue close cooperation on regional threats and negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program, which he said “evolves in the good direction”.

According to The Guardian, Leavitt also said Trump is “deeply saddened and revolted” by Wednesday night's attack, when two embassy staff members were deadly shot near the Jewing Museum in Washington.

“The Department of Justice will follow the punishment of the author of this fact with all the rigor of the law,” the spokesman stressed. US authorities have announced that a suspect has already been detained.

Asked how he comments on the lack of reaction from some American politicians after the attack, Leavitt said he is “deplorable” and has accused a part of the US political left to tolerate or even encourage “illegal and anti -Semitic behaviors.”

“I saw anti-Semitic protests, pro-Hamas protests, supporters of terrorism. I saw them on the university campuses, I saw them ignored by the Democratic Party and, in some cases, even embraced. Therefore, this administration has done more than any other in history to combat anti-Semitism,” the representative of the house said.
