Germany has announced an extension of protection for Ukrainian nationals until 2028. However, new male arrivals of conscription age may be denied entry if they are unable to demonstrate that they left Ukraine legally and are not subject to mobilization. These new regulations came into effect on October 9, according to the country’s Ministry of the Interior.
