Ukrainian Parliament Approves 2027 State Budget in First Reading

The Ukrainian Parliament has approved the state budget for 2027 in its first reading, receiving support from 239 deputies. Among the notable amendments is a proposal to increase salaries for military personnel. Additionally, the Parliament declined to impose a salary cap of 80,000 UAH per month for officials, which would have included members of parliament, judges, prosecutors, and National Bank employees. However, exceptions were made for those involved in the defense of Ukraine. Moreover, the “National Cashback” program faces potential cessation of funding for the year 2027.
