One example cited pertains to Trump’s approach to Ukraine. After improving relations with President Volodymyr Zelensky and signing new sanctions against Russia, Trump shifted away from implementing many planned restrictions, opting instead to purchase Russian diesel fuel. This move has raised concerns that he prioritizes business dealings with Moscow over fairness for Kyiv.
