According to reports, Russian entities have meticulously mapped out all the cables used by international banking systems, particularly those connecting Europe and America. The cables that run beneath the Baltic Sea, linking Scandinavia with Poland and Great Britain with Europe, are also at risk.
The United States has recommended that Poland prepare its banking system for such threats, noting that around $10 trillion in interbank transactions traverse these cables daily.
