Representatives of former President Donald Trump are scheduled to convene with a Ukrainian delegation and officials from the E3—Britain, France, and Germany. This meeting will include national security advisors from these countries, similar to a previous encounter in Kyiv.
The discussions will focus on Ukraine’s proposals for a de-escalation agreement with Russia, which has been identified as a priority in recent communications.
According to RFE/RL correspondent Alex Raufoglu in Washington, the Ukrainian team will feature prominent figures, including the head of the President’s Office, Kyrylo Budanov; First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Denys Shmyhal; Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha; Chief of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Rustem Umerov; and Head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Davyd Arakhamia, alongside other officials.
In addition, a source from RBK-Ukraine revealed details about the meeting between Trump’s representatives, Witkoff and Kushner, and E3 officials. It was noted that progress was made during President Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with Trump regarding licenses for producing Patriot missile defense systems.
Concerning other critical issues, it has been stated that “the ball is in Russia’s court.” However, Russia has yet to respond, as highlighted in the article.
