Zelensky Meets with Negotiation Team Following Talks with U.S. Representatives

Ukrainian negotiators discussed winter support needs with Trump’s envoys, says Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that discussions with U.S. representatives included three rounds of negotiations focused on support for Ukraine as winter approaches.

Alongside Ukrainian negotiators were representatives from E3 nations—France, the United Kingdom, and Germany. “Yesterday, I had a one-on-one conversation with Steve and Jared to recap the day. The most important thing is to continue to work actively and collaboratively to ensure diplomacy,” Zelensky stated.

He emphasized that the parties specifically addressed Ukraine’s needs regarding air defense, technological cooperation, and the necessary winter aid package. Zelensky noted that partners are aware of what measures can be effective and essential before winter.

“We are coordinating further steps and preparing for upcoming meetings and communications. Ukrainian proposals are constructive, and this will always be the case,” he added.
