The White House has unveiled “Arcade,” a new website offering five retro-style video games that reflect the policies of former President Donald Trump. Users can engage in activities such as constructing a border wall or tracking individuals attempting to cross the border, according to reports.
Available at Arcade.gov, one game titled “Build the Wall” is reminiscent of Tetris, requiring players to erect a wall to “protect the border from an approaching horde,” as per the official description.
Another game, “Rio Run,” draws inspiration from the classic “Snake” game, challenging players to patrol the Rio Grande and intercept individuals trying to cross the border. Those apprehended are labeled as deported once the game concludes.
The food policy is also represented with a game called “Supply Line,” inspired by “Tapper,” where players must eliminate food items from a supply chain that do not meet the criteria of the “Make America Healthy Again” initiative launched by the Trump administration.
The remaining two games focus on other initiatives from the current administration. “Flappy Bill” adapts the mechanics of “Flappy Bird,” featuring a bald eagle soaring over the National Mall, while “Trump Savings Tycoon” invites players to collect money to fund “Trump Accounts,” a savings program offering $1,000 contributions for children born during the current president’s second term.
The White House promoted this initiative on its social media channels using animations that parody loading screens from gaming consoles like PlayStation and Nintendo, with the tagline “Can’t stop winning,” alongside references to building the wall and deporting migrants.
In one promotional animation, the logo of the now-defunct Japanese console Sega morphs into “MAGA,” an acronym for Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again.”
The White House explained to The Washington Examiner that this initiative aims to “translate Trump’s agenda into an interactive format” and seeks to “tell the story of his achievements” in a way that resonates with Americans.
The site also teases a sixth game that is set to launch soon.
