Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stressed the importance of recognizing the innocence of children amidst the ongoing conflict. “Even enemies must understand that these children are just that — children. They should not become participants in the war,” he stated during his visit to a school where the traditional first bell ceremony was held in an underground shelter.
