103 Ukrainian Soldiers Released from Russian Captivity in Successful Swap

Today, a total of 103 Ukrainian soldiers have been freed from Russian captivity and are returning home. These individuals include defenders from the Armed Forces, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Guard. Among those released are fighters who defended key areas including Mariupol, and regions in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro, and Sumy.
According to the coordination headquarters for the treatment of prisoners of war, the youngest soldier released today was born in 2000, while the oldest is 59 years of age. “All released soldiers will undergo a full medical examination, receive assistance for physical and psychological rehabilitation, and all state-mandated payments. Ukraine will ensure the reintegration of these heroes into society after their long isolation,” stated the release.
The successful organization of this exchange was aided by the efforts of the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
