Enes Sali, at just 20 years old, has made his return to European football by signing with FC Andorra, competing in La Liga 2, Spain’s second division. Last season, FC Andorra finished 13th, 18 points clear of the relegation zone.
Sali was sold by Farul to FC Dallas in 2023 for a fee of €3 million when he was only 17. He also played for North Texas SC, the reserve team for Dallas.
The player, who was developed by Gică Hagi, made his Liga 1 debut at 15 and had a challenging stint, leading to two loan spells at Al Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Sali made his national team debut for Romania at the tender age of 15.
In his first interview as a player for FC Andorra with the renowned newspaper AS, Sali spoke about his decision to join the club and reflected on his football journey—from his youth days at Barcelona to his time at Farul under Hagi, as well as his experiences in the United States and Saudi Arabia.

“I signed with Barcelona when I was 10, then I moved to Hagi in Romania, where I debuted at 15. After that, I progressed significantly and was called up to the national team, which led to my transfer to Dallas. I then went on loan to Saudi Arabia, and now I am here.
I am a direct player and enjoy taking on one-on-one duels. My strengths are speed and dribbling. I believe I can contribute to the team’s success with my style of play.
I was thrilled when Andorra expressed interest in me. It was an honor. The team plays a style similar to that of Barcelona, which suits my qualities well. It’s an offensive style of football, and I am eager to start here.
I have a picture with Pique (the owner of FC Andorra) from when I was a child living in Barcelona, and it’s incredible to see him again now,” Sali told AS.
