EU Ends Temporary Protection for Ukrainian Conscripts Failing Military Duty

The European Union has announced that as of August 5, it will cease providing temporary protection to Ukrainian citizens who have reached conscription age and have not fulfilled their military service obligations. This policy change requires individuals to independently prove their right to protection.

Meanwhile, reports circulating on social media indicate that in Romania, Ukrainian individuals who have crossed the border illegally are having their passports confiscated and handed over to the police.
