Aymen Boutoutaou Joins FCSB After Transfer from Sochaux

Aymen Boutoutaou, a 25-year-old midfielder known for his versatility behind the striker, has officially arrived in Bucharest to sign with FCSB.
FCSB successfully negotiated with Sochaux to acquire one of their key players from last season, during which the team achieved promotion to France’s second tier. After an initial offer of €800,000 was declined, Gigi Becali raised the bid to €1 million, which was accepted.
Sochaux Confirms Boutoutaou’s Move to FCSB
According to reports from Zone Soch, a publication affiliated with the French club, Boutoutaou’s time at Sochaux has ended, and he has arrived in Bucharest to complete his signing with FCSB. The transfer will be official following his medical examination.
“Aymen Boutoutaou’s period at Sochaux has concluded. He is in Bucharest and will undergo a medical check. Following negotiations regarding the transfer fee, Steaua Bucharest will pay €1 million to Sochaux,” the French media reported.
It remains uncertain if Boutoutaou will make his debut at Ghencea tonight as București faces FC Argeș at 21:30 in the opening match of the new Superliga season. The former champions will arrive at the stadium in the team’s new bus.
Last season, Boutoutaou played 32 matches, scoring 9 goals and providing 6 assists in France’s third division. In the Coupe de France, he played 5 matches, netting 4 goals for Sochaux.
Boutoutaou is right-footed and stands at 1.74m tall. He has spent his entire career in the lower divisions of France and was born in Lille. The right winger has made 55 appearances in Ligue 3, scoring 12 goals and providing 6 assists.
In his career, Boutoutaou has played 92 matches in Ligue 2, netting 12 goals in the French second tier.
