Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded honors and titles to over 100 individuals for their significant contributions to strengthening the nation’s statehood, as well as for their courage and selflessness in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Among the recipients are Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, both of whom are resigning as the entire government is dismissed. President Zelensky bestowed upon them the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class.
Additionally, Alexander Dubovyk, a painter from the Sixtiers movement, received the Order of Freedom, while television host Timur Miroshnichenko and NASU scientist Igor Semivolos were awarded the Order of Merit, 3rd class.
Among the artists recognized with the title of Honored Artist is Andriy Khlyvnyuk, the frontman of the band Boombox, who is actively defending Ukraine at the front.
