Alexey Sukachov, the Director of the State Bureau of Investigations (DBR), has committed to a comprehensive investigation regarding the non-combat fatalities within the Skelia Battalion. Following the consolidation of various criminal cases, all incidents of non-combat deaths will be examined as a single entity. Investigators will assess the actions of all unit leaders involved, Sukachov emphasized. The inquiry into these deaths is being conducted under Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Additionally, a separate criminal case has been initiated following threats made against journalists covering this matter.
